Before You Go!... Some Handy Info
To understand & enjoy Asia... it's important to adjust to the particular culture of the country you are visiting. Here's a few thoughts and points of interest that might assist.
Much of this data alters fairly rapidly and if it's really important to your holiday to follow the thoughts we have here... always consult with your travel agent or the website for that country before visiting.
For instance always make sure you have 6 months of life in passport from the date of travel... check that your name for ticketing is exactly the same as your passport (2 letters wrong and the airlines will make you reissue the ticket)... get to know the fruits and food of the country you're visiting so as it is a joy to experiment... rather than a concern. Asian people avoid an argument at all costs so don't always take the "head movement" as a yes!
We've had 35 years travelling through Asia and frankly... it's an absolute joy when one contrasts the Asian way of life to our western society.
